LCVA are here as business consultants as well as for practical support. We are continuously moving forward, innovating and improving our services to ensure our clients get the best service possible.

In February 2018 I founded LCVA Services. The business was once just me, my laptop and my mobile phone but within the first 12 months the business grew incredibly. We were shortlisted for many awards and we now have a growing team of executives. I am a mum of one with a passion for business and growth volunteering my time to educational entrepreneurial projects in my spare time.
Here are 3 fun facts about me:
- I grew up in the Merthyr valley but now live in the Vale of Glamorgan (which you will realise when you hear my awful accent!)
- I love animals, I would have a zoo if I could, but I have a fear of the 3 S’s (Spiders, snakes and sharks)
- You can never have enough stationary!

I absolutely love the work-life balance and flexibility of my role. I have a passion for all things English, I can spot a spelling mistake a mile off! I live in Barry with my husband, 2 teenage daughters and my 3yr old Cavapoochon called Lola, who is crazy, she thinks she is a rottweiler but she is the total opposite!
3 Fun facts about me:
- I love reading! I own well over 100 books but cannot bring myself to get rid once I have read them. They take up so much room in my house, much to my husband’s dismay!!
- I am a very fussy eater. I will only eat chicken and fish (no lamb or pork chops here!) and I HATE dairy products – cheese is the devils food!
- I am right-handed, but use my left hand to do certain tasks, like ironing and polishing!

I first heard about LCVA through an insight opportunity advertised in Cardiff University. I was in the third year of my degree and decided to apply to the internship to gain some experience. I’ve learnt so many valuable lessons about marketing and social media, and I love being creative when designing posts, writing blogs, or creating newsletters. Through LCVA, I was encouraged to apply for a Masters in Digital Media, which I have just completed!
3 fun facts about me:
- I love exploring new places with my friends - we are determined to try out every restaurant and bar in Cardiff!
- I love watching thriller movies - as part of my English degree I wrote my own thriller screenplay which gave me an excuse to watch a lot of scary movies!
- My favourite food is cawl (a traditional Welsh dish) - I would have a bowl of it every day if I could!

Since joining LCVA, I’ve really enjoyed the variety of work, the chance to meet interesting clients, and most importantly, the genuinely lovely team. The flexibility here means I can balance my career with family life, which is incredibly important to me as a mum of two young children.
Before joining LCVA, I spent several years working in Retail Analysis and Planning. My experience there taught me the value of organisation, communicating effectively I spent my time manipulating large data sets to highlight key take-aways, in order to plan for upcoming seasons.
3 Fun facts about me:
- I’m a self-declared spreadsheet enthusiast. I genuinely enjoy fixing issues and finding solutions
- I love travelling, exploring and trying all the food. My favourite places to travel have been Borneo and India. I can’t wait to take the kids exploring when they’re older!
- When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me in the garden (where I can happily while away the hours)
